This page contains the YouTube links to "Interview with the Vampire's" delayed video portion (or will, once I record and add them here).
What video portion, I hear you ask? I originally planned "Interview" to have a written and video section. As of writing this, though, only part of the written half is complete; i.e., the paratextual and essay elements, on the blogpost itself (which Volume Five's PDF also contains). Writing-wise, there remains the 2026 reflections to my older blogposts and YouTube videos, as well as the actual video series; i.e., where I record myself responding to either type on YouTube, before reflecting on where I currently am (out of the closet) while looking backwards—the vampire's paradoxical "reflection," or so I'm calling it here. To that, I'll update this post whenever able with new YouTube links, said work however abbreviated* nonetheless part of my larger book series and ongoing work on state vampirism.
Note: Whenever I do I will only update this post, not Volume Five's PDF file. The reason for this largely owes to my transitioning away from Microsoft Word and towards WordPress exclusively (with Josey Howarth [my security person] planning to eventually help me discover and utilize more secure ways to archive my work).

Preamble
Dee Reynolds: What is "Night Crawlers"?
Dennis Reynolds: It's a game where they crawl around in the night like worms.
Charlie Kelly: I never said that.
Frank Reynolds: Yeah, well that's what it is (source).

To reiterate, the video facet to "Interview with the Vampire" never got off the ground; i.e., before I eventually arranged Volume Five into a collection of older written works—meaning anything produced before July 2022—I had planned to revisit the original blogposts and YouTube videos from that larger period, then respond to them; re: in a new yet-to-start video series, on YouTube. I then spent much of April and May writing "Interview with the Vampire" as a longer extended document (one last hurrah). In doing so, I got carried away and repeatedly shoved the original video plan to the proverbial wayside. And by the time I had planned to tackle it in earnest, I simply ran out of time. In turn, my moving to a new state has only complicated things, emerging time constraints and priorities* seeing me place said series on the backburner until the move is complete. But even when that happens, I'll still be doing so in a blog-style format that doesn't update Volume Five or the "Interview" blogpost. Only this post will receive updates.
*Re: Volumes Four and Five. "I had to release two book volumes on two different periods of my life in less than a month, while also: healing from a random leg injury, preparing to move on relatively short notice, and archiving my life's work [onto a cloud server]—the pros being that Volume Five only contains pre-written stuff (minus some new paratextual material [with] 'Interview')" (source: "A Small Update and Future Plans," 2026).
I digress. This video series is largely set; i.e., as I'm working with a pre-made body of written work the book volume already includes (and YouTube videos my website catalogs). But said volume, apart from my old Chernobyl review therein, doesn't have 2026 reflections for the rest of my old blogposts or YouTube videos. Those I shall write and record on a daily basis, once I'm back home.

Scaffold
Enough preamble! Here's the rough scaffold for what the ongoing video series currently entails/will entail as I work on it:
[to be added/expanded on; stay tuned]
- "Interview with the Vampire: Retracing My Steps, Post-Book-Series, to Recall How I Got Here": The introduction, here, read along and divided in four parts: the opening, addendums (on footnotes) and spilling tea, essay, and rememory elements (to be included as I record them; part four includes my reuploaded Chernobyl [2019] review).
- "My [Older] Body of Work" and "YouTube Videos (Symposiums)": My older work. All of this shall appear the book volume; each post, I shall read out loud in a video—one that's half a reading portion and half a portion where I opine/reminisce about what I'm reading.
- "Sex, Metal and Videogames" (January 30th, 2021): A good outline of what we'll be going over. As I write in "My Older Body of Work, "I study horror, but have chosen, over the years, to focus on these three topics; they were a large part of my interests growing up, and continue to guide my research going forward. This post explores my introduction to them, and why I continue to devote my time and energy in exploring their Gothic potential."
- Alien: Isolation sequel [name unknown]: When we look at my work on "Alien: Ore" and Alien: Isolation, we'll also consider this upcoming sequel to Creative Assembly's 2014 classic (source: Abyan Khan's "Alien: Isolation Sequel Teaser Trailer Reveals First Look at the Game," 2026).
